World Cup draw to take place in the Kremlin

The draw for the group stage of 2018 FIFA World Cup will take place right in the heart of Russia’s capital, the Kremlin. “We suggested the Kremlin and FIFA has taken us up on the offer,” said Russian Vice-President and former Sports Minister Witali Mutko to the Russian daily newspaper Tass on Monday.

The draw will take place on December 1st and the tournament will be held in Russia between the 14 June and 15 July 2018. World Champions Germany under Joachim Löw are well on the way to punching their ticket to Russia, currently leading qualification Group C.
