Women's quarterfinal called off

Following the torrential downpour in Rotterdam, the quarterfinal tie between the DFB Women and Denmark was called off. The date for the rescheduled fixture has not been announced yet.

Manager Steffi Jones was visibly pleased with the decision: "Luckily UEFA called the game off, it would have been too much of a risk for the players out there." She added: "The conditions would have made it impossible to play. The Denmark manager and I were discussing it the whole time and agreed that it wouldn’t be a legitimate quarterfinal. UEFA have their own regulations though, to determine whether the pitch can in fact be deemed playable."
