Champions Bayern Munich and runners up VfL Wolfsburg have been given difficult tasks in their Women’s Champions League round of 16 ties. Bayern will meet Russian side FK Rossijanka. Wolfsburg’s women will face Sweden’s Eskistuna United.

Bayern will play the first leg at home, but Wolfsburg must travel for their tie’s opener, per the results of the UEFA draw in Nyon. The rules stipulate that the two German sides could not be drawn against each other in the round of 16, as all-domestic ties are prohibited at this stage of the competition.

The first leg games will be played on 9th and 10th November, and the second legs will take place on 16th and 17th November. The final will be held on 1 June in Cardiff.
