St. Pauli keeps pace with top three

At the end of the year in the duel of the haunters FC St. Pauli defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 (1-0) on round 19 in the 2nd Bundesliga on monday. Fabio Morena and Max Kruse scored for the home team, which is now equal in points to Frankfurt in the standings.

Hansa Rostock nearly broke their bad streak of seven winless matches, but after suffering a goal in the dying seconds only managed a 2-2 (1-1) against eastern rivals Dynamo Dresden. In other matches on Sunday there were no winners either.

On Saturday VfL Bochum won the final test before DFB cup match against Bayern München 2-0 at FSV Frankfurt on Saturday. At the same time Karlsruher SC lost the fith game under the directory of coach Jörn Andersen against 1860 München 1-3.

Due to this results Frankfurt are 16th of the table, KSC are placed on 17th. München climb on place 6, VfL Bochum are 9th.

After 27 matches without losing, the impressive streak of leaders Fortuna Düsseldorf ended on Friday on Round 19 of the Second Bundesliga. SC Paderborn 07 managed a 3-2 (1-0) win at the Esprit Arena and are now only three points behind Fortuna. In other matches SpVgg Greuther Fürth climbed to second place after a 5-0 (3-0) thrashing of Union Berlin, while Erzgebirge Aue and FC Ingolstadt 04 drew 1-1 (0-1).
