Silvia Neid: That was very, very good

Germany's second group match at the UEFA Women's EURO in Sweden has delivered a first victory: the women's national team deservedly beat Iceland 3-0, securing three vital points and putting the defending champions firmly on course for a place in the knockout stages. DFB.de listened to the post-match reaction.

Silvia Neid: The team went out and did exactly what we talked about beforehand. That was very, very good. We were excellent when we didn't have the ball, and we made sure it was never in doubt. 3-0 is a fair result. Lena Lotzen set us on our way. The team did everything perfectly.

Dzsenifer Marozsan: We kept it very tight at the back and got stuck into our tackles right from the start. We enjoyed it today. That's how we want to carry on.

Lena Lotzen: It was a must-win game. Obviously, I'm delighted I scored the opening goal, but I'm especially pleased for the team. We have to take each game as it comes from now on, but we're off the mark. We have to approach every game just like today's.

Melanie Leupolz: We settled into the game far better today, and it all came together this time.

Celia Okoyino da Mbabi: We played well and dominated our opponents for 90 minutes. We were also much better at getting our shots away today, and we shut up shop at the back.
