Germany captain Bastian Schweinsteiger is back in training with English record champions Manchester United following a two-month injury spell.
"Antonio Valencia and Bastian Schweinsteiger are coming back,” said Van Gaal, “our injury situation will improve in March. Then it won’t be so easy for me to make decisions.” On Schweinsteiger’s fitness, the former Bayern coach told, “Bastian has only completed one training session. Valencia is fit enough to be on the bench, but to play 90 minutes? I don't think so.”
Schweinsteiger had picked up an minor knee ligament tear in the FA Cup win against Sheffield United on 9th January.
