SAP new DFB premium partner

As of today, German software giant SAP joins the ranks of the German Football Association's (DFB) premium partners. DFB President Wolfgang Niersbach and SAP Executive Board member Gerhard Oswald met on the fringes of the CeBIT technology trade in Hanover to sign a contractual agreement until 31st December 2017 that delineates the further development of the DFB's software infrastructure, including the implementation of a CRM and ticketing system.

"With its experience, know-how and strong affinity to football, SAP is the ideal partner for us as we pursue our strategy to position the DFB as an innovative and service-oriented player in Germany and beyond", says Wolfgang Niersbach.

A sentiment echoed by SAP's Gerhard Oswald, who says "sponsoring is part of our tradition. The same qualities that have made SAP the leading provider of corporate solutions - commitment, experience, skills, and the will to perform - are key to producing elite athletes. This partnership is a wonderful platform for us, and we greatly look forward to teaming up with the DFB".
