Quarterfinals: Wolfsburg face Anja Mittag's Rosengard

Holders VfL Wolfsburg and seven time German champions 1. FFC Frankfurt have interesting challenges in the next round of the Women’s Champions League. Frankfurt have been drawn against English side Bristol Academy in the quarter-finals. Wolfsburg face FC Rosengard, with the first leg taking place in Germany. The Swedish champions include Germany international Anja Mittag in their squad; the striker has been in stunning form for the Swedish side so will pose a threat to Wolfsburg. Fellow German Katrin Schmidt is also in their squad.

French runners up Pars Saint-Germain face Scottish champions Glasgow City FC. The French side have a host of Germany internationals in their ranks: Lira Alushi, Annike Krahn and Josephine Henning as well as former player Linda Bresonik. The fourth quarter-final match-up sees Linköpings FC (Sweden) play Bröndby IF (Denmark).

The road to Berlin

The first-legs will be played on 21st-22nd March 2015, with the second-legs taking place the week after. The semi-finals take place in April (18th-19th April and 25th-26th). The winners of Wolfsburg against Rosengard will face the team who win the quarter-final between Glasgow City and PSG. Consequently, the other semi-final will be between the winner of Frankfurt against Bristol and Linköpings against Bröndby. The final will take place on 14th May in the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark in Berlin.

Both Bundesliga sides qualified for the quarter-finals with spectacular victories in the round of 16. Wolfsburg beat Austrian side SV Neulengbach 4-0 in Austria and 7-0 at home to complete a stunning 11-0 victory on aggregate. Frankfurt beat Italian side ASD Torres 9-0 on aggregate (5-0 in Germany, 4-0 in Italy).
