Okoyino da Mbabi strikes, Germany win Algarve Cup

Three goals by Celia Okoyino da Mbabi secured Germany a 4-3 (2-1) victory in the final of the Algarve Cup in Portugal against World Champion Japan.

The striker struck twice in the dramatic dying minutes of the match (88., 90.), after the Asians had come back from a two-goal deficit. Dzsenifer Marozsan (20.) and Okoyino da Mbabi (22.) had given the team of coach Silvia Neid an early 2-0 lead.

Nahomi Kawasumi (35.) and Asuna Tanaka (55.) levelled the game, so did Yuki Nagasato (90.) seconds before the decisive strike by Okoyino.
