Round two of the 2nd Bundesliga ended with the duel of the relegated teams. In Frankfurt, Eintracht and FC St. Pauli missed on the second win in the second match and finished in a 1-1 tie. Fin Bartels scored the lead for the visitors, before Alex Meiers third goal in two games secured a point for Eintracht.
On Sunday, Eintracht Braunschweig won 2-0 at Alemannia Aachen and moved to first place. Fortuna Düsseldorf missed second place by drawing 1-1 at Paderborn.
On Saturday Greuther Fürth beat Union Berlin 4-0. Energie Cottbus won the second match of the season winning 2-1 at Duisburg. Ingolstadt and Erzgebirge came to a goalless draw.
