Marozsan chosen in Female World XI

Germany national team captain Dzsenifer Marozsan has been selected in the FIFPro Female World XI. The 25-year-old has been chosen for the second time in the world XI, which was chosen from 4100 top-league players in 45 different countries.

Alongside the 84-time national player, Nilla Fischer and Pernille Harder, from two-time Women’s Bundesliga winning VfL Wolfsburg also made the world XI. Champions League-winning Olympique Lyon had four players chosen, the most of any club, with England’s Lucy Bronze, France’s Wendie Renard and Camille Abily, as well as Marozsan making the side. Lieke Martens of FC Barcelona from the Netherlands received the largest number of votes of any player (1251).

This is the third time that a FIFPro Female World XI has been selected. The players had to cast votes for a goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three strikers.
