Last minute goal secures top spot for FC St. Pauli

With a goal by Fin Bartels in virtually the last second FC St. Pauli celebrated a 2-1 (1-1) against MSV Duisburg to secure the top spot in the Monday night match of Round 5 of the Second Bundesliga.

On Sunday Eintracht Frankfurt won 4-0 at city rivals FSV and climb to third place behind Energie Cottbus, who beat Karlsruher SC 2-0. Eintracht Braunschweig missed a promotion spot after drawing 1-1 against Erzgebirge Aue on Saturday. Meanwhile VfL Bochum lost 1-2 at Union Berlin and drop to 13th place. SpVgg Greuther Fürth is on top after a 3-0 on Friday against FC Ingolstadt.

Fortuna Düsseldorf took their run to 17 wins at home after a 3-1 against 1860 München. In the third game of the day Alemannia Aachen collected the first point of the season. The match between Hansa Rostock and the team of coach Peter Hyballa ended 0-0.
