The 29-year old moved to the Turin club from Schalke 04 on a loan deal at the end of August. However, he hasn’t been able to make an appearance yet due to injury. His Germany teammate Sami Khedira also missed the derby with Torino on Saturday, although he should be back in the squad for Juventus’ Champions League game against Olympiacos on Wednesday.
