Germany Women to face Brazil, China and Sweden at Algarve Cup

Germany Women’s national team will face well-known opponents in Portugal at the 2015 Algarve Cup (2nd until 12th March). Silvia Neid’s side, as defending champions, have been drawn alongside Brazil, China and Sweden.

Norway, USA, Switzerland and Iceland were drawn together in Group B, while Group C consisted of Denmark, France, Japan and hosts Portugal.

Last year’s traditional showpiece on the Portuguese Atlantic coast saw the DFB team record a 5-0 victory over Iceland, 1-0 victory against China and 3-1 against Norway, before comfortably winning the final 3-0 against Japan.
