Germany still third in World Rankings

There are no changes to the top ten of the FIFA World Rankings at the start of 2017, as Germany remain third with 1433 points behind the South American duo of Argentina (1634) and Brazil (1544). As only twelve international games have been played since December, the first 34 places in the ranking are unchanged.

Behind the current World Champions are Chile (1404) and Belgium (1368), who complete the top five. Joachim Löw’s men will take to the pitch for the first time this year on the 22nd of March (20:45 CET), when they will face England in a friendly at BVB’s Signal Iduna Park.

The next update of the World Rankings will be released on the 9th of February.
