Germany cruise to 3-0 win over Cameroon

Miroslav Klose scored twice as Germany celebrated their 750th international match with a 3-0 victory over Cameroon on Wednesday. The 2006 World Cup hosts missed a series of chances before Kevin Kuranyi took a pass from Michael Ballack and raced clear to open the scoring in the 71st minute.

Klose, a second-half substitute, made it 2-0 when he converted a left-wing cross from Bernd Schneider seven minutes later. Cameroon, who hardly threatened Jens Lehmann's goal in a one-sided game, had midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba sent off with nine minutes to go and Klose added his second two minutes from time.
