Duisburg beat Jena to win their third DFB Cup

FCR 2001 Duisburg have crowned themselves titleholders of the DFB Cup Women for the third time beating USV Jena 1-0 (0-0) in front of 26,282 fans in Cologne. It was Duisburg's third cup title after 1998 and 2009.

National player Annike Krahn (51, scored the winning goal with a superb header after a cross by Alexandra Popp (90).

"I am very happy für Annike", Duisburg's coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg said after the match: "Wie knew it would be a hard match. But I think it was an interesting one. We are the champions, and that's what we wanted to be."
