Dortmund surprised Champion Wolfsburg

Round 16 of German Bundesliga was closed on Sunday when Borussia Dortmund made a 3-1 in Wolfsburg. The team from Western Germany is now only one point behind a qualification position for the next season of the Europa League.

Also on Sunday VfB Stuttgart missed with their new coach Christian Gross the first victory in the Bundesliga since September 26 after playing 1-1 in Mainz.

Schalke 04 moved up to second after beating hosts Werder Bremen 2-0 on Saturday. Bayern München celebrated a stunning 5-1 at VfL Bochum for their third straight league win. Bottom of the table Hertha BSC Berlin draw 2-2 against league leaders Bayer Leverkusen in the opener of round 16 in the Bundesliga on Friday evening.
