DFB signs MoU with Libyan Football Federation

The German Football Association and the Libyan Football Federation (LFF) will join forces to promote football in the North African country. A corresponding memorandum of understanding was signed on 29 May 2012 in Frankfurt by DFB President Wolfgang Niersbach and his LFF counterpart Muftah Kuweidir.

The agreement comprises the promotion of footballing structures in Libya, particularly in the areas of coaching, talent promotion, women’s football and administration. Through the cooperation with the DFB the LFF expects to further develop grassroots projects, while providing their technical staff with training opportunities in Libya and Germany.

The DFB has already signed Memoranda of Understanding with the FA’s of Australia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Israel, China, Japan, South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia, Honduras, France and the United Arab Emirates.
