Champion Borussia Dortmund has defended the second place on Round 24 of Bundesliga. The team of coach Jürgen Klopp won 3-1 against Hannover 96. On Saturday evening chaser Bayer Leverkusen won in the last minutes 2-1 against VfB Stuttgart. Schalke 04 pointed up the rising tendency, while the "Königsblauen" beated VfL Wolfsburg 4-1. FC Augsburg won at Bremen and Hamburg couldn't win against Fürth (1-1), which is still last of the table. SC Freiburg tied 1-1 with 1. FC Nürnberg.
On Friday Borussia Mönchengladbach ended their streak of six matches without a win with a 1-0 victory at Eintracht Frankfurt to start Round 24. Frankfurt were held goalless for the fourt match in a row.
On Sunday leader Bayern München is on the way to the next championship. The team of coach Jupp Heynckes have probably no problems in the match at 1899 Hoffenheim. Fortuna Düsseldorf and FSV Mainz 05 complete the 24th Round.
