Bundesliga relegation battle to go to wire

The battle to stay in the Bundesliga is set to go to the wire after relegation-threatened Augsburg lost 2-0 at Freiburg of Round 32 on Sunday. Augsburg are one of four teams fighting to stay in Germany's top tier with just two games left.

Goals by Congo's Cedrick Makiadi and Jonathan Schmid left Freiburg sixth, good enough to qualify for next season's Europa League, but leaves Augsburg deep in the relegation mire.

The 32nd round of Bundesliga started with a 1-0-victory of Schalke 04 thanks to Julian Draxler. The german international scored in the match at Borussia Mönchengladbach the goal of the day. So Schalke stabilized the coveted fourth place.

On Sunday Freiburg receive Augsburg, who have the possibility to leave the relegation places. Recently Hamburg bet Wolfsburg.
