The first round of the 2016/17 DFB Cup is yet to begin, put plans for the second round have already been put in place. The 16 pairings for the last 32 of the competition will be drawn by DFB team coordinator Oliver Bierhoff, with the assistant of vice president Peter Frymuth.
The draw will be made following the Bundesliga opener between Bayern München and Werder Bremen on 26th August.
