Kits: The question of which kits will be worn has a classic answer: Die Mannschaft will wear their traditional white home strip whilst Italy will wear their usual blue.

The referee: Austrian Oliver Drachta will take charge of the match in Munich. He will be assisted by fellow countrymen Roland Brandner and Stefan Kühr. Manuel Schüttengruber will be the fourth official. 38-year-old Drachta, who works at a sports-medicine institute in Linz, has been a FIFA referee since 2010 but will not officiate at the EUROs this summer.
