Algarve Cup: First victory in Portugal

The German National Team of Women celebrated the first victory at the 20th Algarve Cup. The European champions and defending champions won in the second match against world champion Japan 2-1. The DFB-team were unbeaten in the 21th match in series since the quarter-final at the 2011 World Cup against Japan (0-1).
