Domestic football in Germany is still in the middle of its summer break. But every loyal fan still wants to know: when is my team’s first game in the DFB Cup? Who is our first league opponent? When’s our big derby?

DFB.de explains to you when all will become clear. With the help of the following overview, you can find out when your favourite competition will be releasing its fixtures for 2015/2016 – including the DFB Cup, the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga.

The fixtures for the first round of the DFB Cup have already been announced, with the games being played over the weekend of the 7th-10th August 2015.

So who will your club play on the opening weekend of the league? We already know that the new Bundesliga season will begin on Friday 14th August 2015, with defending champions Bayern Munich opening the season at home. But where will your team be playing that opening weekend?

And where will your season end in May? Will your team be celebrating in front of home fans, or making a long, quiet trip back home? The season is due to end on Saturday 14th May 2016. The winter break will last from 21st December 2015 until 21st January 2016 and the relegation play-offs will be on 19/20 May and 23/24 May 2016.

The fixtures for the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga are set to be announced on Friday 26th June at 12:00 CEST.
