Brain1 becomes licensing partner of the German national futsal team

Brain1 is the new licensing partner of the German national futsal team. The digital platform for brain training integrates modern neuroscience and advanced cognitive training into the daily training routine of players and users.
As a scientifically based tool, Brain1 uses short cognitive training games to strengthen brain performance and promote key skills in athlete development. The cognitive training focuses on improving attention and concentration under pressure, working memory and rapid information processing, perception and spatial awareness, and reaction speed in dynamic environments.
‘Futsal is a fast-paced, dynamic and technically demanding game played in a confined space, requiring constant concentration and lightning-fast decisions and reactions under pressure. That's why this partnership is a perfect match for supporting the cognitive and mental performance of our players in training,’ says Dennis Bessel, team leader for futsal and beach soccer at the DFB.
‘Regular training with our platform gives players a cognitive training advantage – something that will determine the future of high-performance sport. It is an honour to be working with the DFB – one of the most forward-thinking associations in world football – to bring cognitive training directly to the players,’ says Sasan Tabib, founder and CEO of Brain1.
Launch of the partnership at the DFB Campus
The partnership with the national futsal team was launched during a marketing day at the DFB campus, where players from the national futsal team were able to test Brain1's cognitive mini-games, reaction speed training and concentration training modules.
The players' use of the applications provides valuable insights into how digital brain training can support decision-making, processing speed and situational awareness on the pitch. The players' feedback was consistently positive. They particularly highlighted the motivating competitive nature of the games and the immediate visibility of their own ‘brain performance’ during use.
However, Brain1 is not only aimed at competitive athletes, but at anyone who wants to improve their mental fitness. With Brain1, daily brain training can be integrated into everyday life in a playful way – for better performance at school, work, sports and leisure.
