World champions up to third in World Rankings

The Germany national team, with 1347 points, have moved up to third in the FIFA World Rankings, overtaking Columbia. The world champions winners gained an extra 28 points compared to in August.

World Cup finalists Argentina remain at the top of the rankings (1646) ahead of Belgium (1369). European champions Portugal (1228) dropped down a place into seventh, while runners-up France (1188) are eighth.

Following their Olympics success, Brazil (1323) climbed five places (+167) points and jointly occupy fourth place with Columbia. Two-time World Cup winners Uruguay (1173) broke into the top 10 and are now ninth.
