World Champions still fourth in rankings

Germany have begun 2016 by maintaining their fourth-place position in the FIFA World Rankings. The Joachim Löw’s World Champions are on 1347 points and find themselves behind Belgium (1494), defeated World Cup finalists Argentina (1455) and European Champions Spain (1370).

The top 50 sides have remained larger unchanged, with only Sweden (35th to 34th), Iran (45th to 43rd) and Guinea (50th to 49th) being able to improve their ranking. The new January ranking include 15 matches from December and one from 2016.

The next FIFA World Rankings will be released on 4th February 2016.
