Women of Bayern München win DFB-Cup

The women of Bayern München have won for the first time the DFB-Cup. The team of coach Thomas Wörle dethroned the title holders 1. FFC Frankfurt with a 2-0 (0-0) in the final in Cologne and celebrated the biggest success of the club's history since winning the championship 1976.

The goals were scored before 15 678 spectators by a header of Sarah Hagen (63.) and Ivana Rudelic (90. +1).
