Defending Champions League and Bundesliga champions VfL Wolfsburg (35 points) and still undefeated FC Bayern München (33) have the best defences in the league and occupy the top two places after 13 of 22 matchdays.
The Wolves have shipped just one goal with that tally four for FCB. A team has not conceded fewer than ten goals since the introduction of the single Bundesliga in the 1997/98 season. It doesn't look bad for Wolfsburg and Munchen.
