In the quarterfinals of the Women’s Champions League, both of the German teams still left in the competition have been drawn against French opposition. In a rematch of last season’s final, Olympique Lyon and Germany national team players Dzsenifer Marozsán and Pauline Bremer await VfL Wolfsburg in the next round, while Bayern München come up against Paris Staint-Germain. The first legs will be played on the 22nd and 23rd of March next year, with the return fixture being played a week later on the 29th and 30th.
Looking ahead to the semi finals, should Bayern advance, they’ll face either FC Rosengard or FC Barcelona, while Wolfsburg would encounter the winner of Fortuna Hjörring and Manchester City’s clash. The semi finals will be played a month after the quarters, on the 23nd and 23rd of April, and the 29th and 30th. The final in Cardiff is scheduled for the 1st of June.
