DFB-Team coach Horst Hrubesch will have to do without Hertha BSC’s Mitchell Weiser for the Germany U21s’ European qualifier against Austria on Tuesday (18:00 CET).
The Berlin player suffered a partial ligament tear in his left ankle during Sunday’s training session. Weiser will travel back home to Berlin in order to receive treatment. There are no plans to call up a replacement.
