Germany U21 manager Horst Hrubesch will have to make do without Borussia Dortmund's Julian Weigl for their European Championship qualifier against Azerbaijan in Regensburg on Friday.
The midfielder is suffering from a knee injury and is being treated in Dortmund. Weigl will join up with the team later in the week and should be available for selection for the European Championship qualifier against Austria next Tuesday.
