U21s travel to Norway without Klostermann and Dahoud

The Germany U21s national team set off for Norway today without RB Leipzig’s Lukas Klostermann and Borussia Dortmund’s Mahmoud Dahoud, ahead of Tuesday’s European Championship qualifier in Drammen (19:00 CEST). Klostermann is being rested, having recently recovered from a long-term injury and Dahoud is suffering from a toothache. Furthermore, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim’s Nadiem Amiri and 1. FSV Mainz 05’s Levin Öztunali will not travel for the match and will instead receive treatment with their clubs.

Germany’s U21s initially fly to Oslo and from where they will then travel to the team’s quarters in Fornebu. Stefan Kuntz’s team have enjoyed two home victories so far, 1-0 against Kosovo and 6-1 against Azerbaijan.
