U21s to play in Kassel, Ingolstadt and Berlin

The Germany U21 side will play a European Championship qualifier in Ingolstadt as well as two friendlies in Kassel and Berlin as three more venues were announced for the U21 national team’s fixtures taking place in the second half of 2016. Marcus Sorg, who will be taking over the job of head coach from Horst Hrubesch after the Olympic Games in Rio, will celebrate his home coaching debut during a friendly against Slovakia at the Auestadion in Kassel on 2nd September (18:15 CEST).

The second friendly will take place on 10th November (18:00 CET) against Turkey at the Alten Försterei in Berlin. The Germany U21s will face off against Russia in a European Championship qualifier on 7th October (18:00 CEST) at the Audi Sportpark in Ingolstadt.
