U20s fail to pick up points in Poland

The Germany U20s are still waiting for their first points following their second match of the international round. DFB coach Duido Streichbier’s side suffered a 3-0 defeat to Poland in Świnoujście after losing their first match 1-0 to Italy.

Germany went behind in the 27th minute at the Miejski stadium through a goal from VfL Wolfsburg’s Oskar Zawada. The lead was then doubled by Filip Jagiello on the stroke of half time. Zawada grabbed Poland’s third and completed a brace in injury time at the end of the second half to round off the scoring for the hosts.
