Germany U20s were not able to capitalise on their clear superiority against Poland U20s, and drew the match 0-0. Frank Wormuth’s side therefore missed out on the chance to take revenge following Poland’s 2-1 defeat of Germany at the beginning of September in Włocławek.
"I am very pleased. We played extremely well, as just like in our recent matches, we dominated the opposition. Unfortunately we didn’t score any goals, which has been a problem in our recent fixtures. We need someone up front who will put the goals away. Having said that, it was an excellent performance from the whole team," praised Wormuth.
