U17 EUROs: Germany to face Italy, Czech Republic and Spain

Should they wish to win their fifth European title, The U17 women will have to find a way past Italy, the Czech Republic and Spain. Anouschka Bernhard’s side have been drawn in Group B, and will start their campaign on May 4th against defending champions Spain, Italy and the Czech Republic.

"An interesting, but difficult group," was the reaction of Anouschka Bernhard following the draw in Minsk’s Victoria Hotel. "It will be very evenly-matched, as there certainly aren’t any easy games. We face old rivals Spain, and Italy and the Czech Republic will pose different challenges. We will prepare well, and go into the tournament with belief."
