Fifth win in the fifth game. The german U 21 cruised to a 8-0 (5-0) victory at San Marino to stay perfect in the qualifying round for the European Championship 2013. Peniel Mlapa from 1899 Hoffenheim scored three times and was the best striker in the game.
San Marino never had a chance and had been down two goals after only five minutes. Moritz Leitner from Borussia Dortmund and Maximilian Beister from Fortuna Düsseldorf added to the three goals of Mlapa to build a 5-0-lead at halftime.
In the second half, Nürnberg striker Alexander Esswein scored twice and Daniel Ginczek who plays in the Second Bundesliga for Bochum got their goals against a hapless San Marino squad.
