Two opponents, two wins, nine goals

The U21s wrapped up their preparations for the upcoming European Championship in Poland with two comfortable wins. Eight days before the team departs for Krakow, Stefan Kuntz’s team beat the German students national team 4-0 as part of their Grassau training camp. This was then followed by a 5-0 thrashing of Regionalliga side 1860 Rosenheim. Both matches were played with two 30-minute halves and Kuntz used different teams for each.

The U21s fly to Poland on 14th June, before their group-stage opener against Czech Republic the following Sunday. Denmark (21st June) and Italy (24th June) are the other two opponents.
