Trapp keeps third straight clean sheet in PSG victory

Kevin Trapp and Paris St. Germain have won their opening three league games and occupy first place in Ligue 1 table with nine points, following their 1-0 victory at Montpellier on Friday night.

The Germany U21 national team keeper, who joined PSG this summer from Eintracht Frankfurt, kept his third clean sheet in as many appearances for the French champions. Blaise Matuidi provided the only goal of the night, shortly after the hour mark.

"Montpellier played well. They had a few good chances. We didn’t play very well. It’s not easy as a goalkeeper to play against a team fighting for survival. There weren’t many shots on goal but you always have to be 100% concentrated," said Trapp to beInsports. He was given 6/10 by L'Equipe.
