Trapp continues incredible season with PSG

Kevin Trapp is enjoying an incredible season with Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1. In a season of superlatives, the club from the capital won 1-0 away against the league's second-bottom club FC Toulouse, and in doing so continued their unbeaten record this season. Trapp kept his twelfth clean sheet, with the 25-year-old enjoying a relatively quiet afternoon at the Stadium Municipal.

Star player Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the deciding goal with his 16th strike in 15 league appearances. The Swedish international scored in the 74th minute after good build-up work from Brazilian centre back David Luiz. PSG sit at the top of the table on 57 points, 23 points above second-placed promoted side Angers SCO. Angers suffered a 2-1 defeat away to third-placed OGC Nice on Friday night.

Galatasaray win without Podolski

Galatasaray remain a force to be reckoned with at home. On matchday 18 of the Turkish SüperLig season, the champions defeated Sivasspor 3-1 in the absence of Lukas Podolski, who is suffering from a thigh injury.

Galatasaray, who sit in third place on 33 points, cut the deficit to leaders Besiktas and second-placed Fenerbahce to eight points and seven points respectively. On Sunday at 19:00 CET, Mario Gomez and Besiktas will play at home against second-bottom side Mersin Idman Yurdu, whilst Fenerbahce travel to Eskisehirspor on Monday evening.
