Super Cup: Bilbao hit Barcelona for four

FC Barcelona are unlikely to be adding to their impressive trophy haul from last season anytime soon. With Germany international Marc-André ter Stegen between the sticks, last year's Primera Division champions suffered a surprising 4-0 defeat to Athletic Bilbao in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup. The return leg will take place on Monday at the Camp Nou.

Man of the match was Aritz Aduriz, who scored a second half hat-trick to stun the Catalans, after Mikel San José had bagged the first half opener. The Spanish Super Cup could have been Barcelona's fifth trophy from the six up for grabs in the 2015 calendar year: the league title, Copa del Rey, Champions League and UEFA Super Cup have already been won by Barcelona. Towards the end of the year they will also take part in the FIFA Club World Cup.
