TSG Hoffenheim central defender Niklas Süle has unfortunately had to withdraw from the Germany U21s squad due to injury, and will miss the upcoming friendly matches against Turkey in Berlin on Thursday (18:00 CET) and away to Poland in Tychy on 15th November (18:30 CET).
In place of the Olympic silver medal winner, U21s coach Stefan Kuntz has called up VfB Stuttgart defender Timo Baumgartl. Should he feature, the 20-year-old would make his debut for the U21s side.
