The DFB-Team U21 side beat Slovakia 3-0 in Stefan Kuntz’s first game in charge thanks to goals from Grischa Prömel, Niklas Stark and Levin Öztunali. However, it was a different player that caught the eye of the supporters the most. Dresden’s Marvin Stefaniak was voted Man of the Match by DFB.de users and Fan Club Nationalmannschaft powered by Coca-Cola members.
Stefaniak received 77.1% of the votes, finishing ahead of colleagues Timon Wellenreuther (4.5%) and Maximilian Arnold (4.2%).
