DFB-Team manager Marcus Sorg has selected 24 players for the U19 international fixtures against England on 4th September in Bergisch Gladbach and the Netherlands on 7th September in Raalste.
The players have emerged from the U18s and now face their debuts in the new age bracket. Familiar faces include goalkeeper Dominik Reimann (Borussia Dortmund) defender Maximilian Mittelstädt (Hertha BSC), midfielders Gino Fechner (RB Leipzig), Arianit Ferati (VfB Stuttgart) and Philipp Ochs (1899 Hoffenheim), as well as strikers Enis Bunjaki (Eintracht Frankfurt), Erik Wekesser (1. FC Kaiserslautern) and Prince Owusu (VfB Stuttgart).
The two international friendlies will act as preparation for the Elite Cup in October, and especially for the European Championship 2016. Germany will be hosting both tournaments.
