Sané stars with goal and assist in City win

Germany international Leroy Sané helped Premier League leaders win their eighth game in a row and maintain their position at the top of the table in the process. The 21-year-old forward was involved in two of his team’s goals in their 3-2 win over West Brom, as he bagged a goal and an assist. He scored the opener in the tenth minute, before setting up the Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho for City’s second. They now have 28 points in the league, which is good enough for first place – five points ahead of bitter rivals Manchester United on 23 points.

Özil helps Arsenal to victory with assist

Thanks to their 2-1 come from behind victory against Swansea City, Arsenal and Mesut Özil have climbed up to fourth place in the league. The World Cup winner set up Sead Kolasinac’s equalizer in the 51st minute, before Aaron Ramsey sealed the win for the Gunners in the 58th.

Juventus Turin and World Cup winner Sami Khedira recorded another win in Serie A on matchday 11. The Old Lady beat AC Milan 2-0 away from home thanks to a Gonzalo Higuain brace. Khedira played the full 90.

The result moves Juventus up to second in the table, level on points with SSC Napoli, who play on Sunday. Inter Milan (26) and Lazio Roma (25) lie in third and fourth.
