In tonight’s headline clash in the Premier League, Arsenal took on table-toppers Manchester City with a lot of Die Mannschaft’s players on show. The game included four potential players which could represent Die Mannschaft this summer: Mesut Özil, Shkodran Mustafi, Ilkay Gündogan and Leroy Sané. The latter two came out on top in a 3-0 win for the Citizens at the Emirates.
Sané has been working his way back from injury for the past two weeks and put in a stellar performance this evening. He was involved in all of his team’s goals. The 22-year-old neatly laid off Bernardo Silva who rocked home the opener. Soon after, the former Schalke player was heavily involved in David Silva’s goal which doubled his team’s lead. Sané then scored himself in the 33rd minute for his eighth goal of the season.
