DFB Team U21 head coach Horst Hrubesch is unable to select FC Schalke 04 attacker Leroy Sané for the upcoming European Championship qualifier in Azerbaijan.
The youngster suffered a fissure on his right hand during Saturday’s training session and is unable to make the trip to Eastern Europe. Sané left the camp this morning and headed home. He will not be replaced in the squad.
The team’s flight from Hamburg to Baku takes off this morning.
