Sami Khedira scores in Juventus draw with Napoli

World Cup winner Sami Khedira was on the scoresheet as Italian giants Juventus drew 1-1 in the crunch Serie A match against SSC Napoli. Khedira had put the Italian champions 1-0 in front within seven minutes, before Marek Hamsik levelled an hour later.

Juventus now have 74 points to their name after 30 matches, leaving them six points clear of AS Roma on 68. Antonio Rüdiger's side had beaten Empoli 2-0 on Saturday. Napoli sit in third, ten points off the top.

Sané and Mustafi on target as City and Arsenal draw 2-2

Two German goalscorers, but no winner. Arsenal and Manchester City played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in the Premier League on Sunday in a match that meant a lot for European qualification next season. City twice let a one goal advantage slip against the Gunners and remain fourth after Liverpool’s victory against Everton on Saturday. Arsenal remain sixth.

Germany international Leroy Sané and Argentine Sergio Aguero twice gave the visitors the lead only for Theo Walcott and World Cup winner Shkodran Mustafi - after an assist from Mesut Özil - to square the game up on both occasions and rescue a point for Arsenal.

Kroos and Real take another step towards the title

Toni Kroos helped Real Madrid edge closer to a 33rd league title by beating promoted side Deportivo Alavés 3-0 to build a five point lead at the top of the table from FC Barcelona. Kroos played the whole 90 minutes as Karim Benzema, Isco and Nacho got the goals on Sunday.

Barcelona can reduce the deficit again to two points with a win against relegation-threatened FC Granada on Sunday evening. Atletico Madrid tightened their grip on third place on Saturday with a 2-0 win over over FC Malaga after goals from Koke and Filipe Luís.
